Shotokan Karate Classes
Affordable Not-for-Profit Karate Training for our Youth
Nassau County PAL Shotokan Karate
Affordable, Not for Profit Karate Training for our Youth
Shotokan Karate Classes are hosted by the Nassau County Police Activity League (PAL) & instructed by PAL Karate Instructors. The PAL is a Non-Profit Organization.
The PAL offers affordable youth classes (typically just $240 - $300 for an entire year, up to 5 classes per week) through the local PAL Units. No contracts to sign.
PAL Shotokan Karate classes are currently offered in Massapequa, Wantagh, Seaford, Levittown, Uniondale and East Rockaway for ages 7 to 19. Many of our instructors are volunteers.
Though a traditional Shotokan Karate program is run, our instructors have expanded their study of the martial arts through training in Judo, Kendo, Jui Jitsu & Iaido among others.
Traditional etiquette, Shotokan philosophy, and character development are taught in conjunction with physical activities. This is critical for the proper development of each students mind, spirit & body. Please see the classes page for more information on available class programs.
Note: This site is for educational purposes only, it is for the benefit of our students and parents. This site is not run by or monitored by the Police Activity League (PAL). It was created on our personal time and at our expense.
